After a 6 hour bus journey on a local bus for local people we arrived in the Cameron Highlands last wednesday for 3 days. Bit of a strange place, we stayed in this Inn for backpackers, 3 people squeezed in a room for two but hey at 30gbp for the whole 3 days you couldn't beat it!!
Local tour man took us on Thursday into the Highlands where we saw how 'Boh' tea i made. Fields and fields of lush green tea plantations and then some tea-tasting mmmmmm!!
Nightlife a bit loca! You know when you walk into a bar and everyone stops talking!! Tried a Steamboat, where you cook your fish etc yourself in soup on a hotplate...mm well i tried it once anyway!!
Next day thought we'd be fit and do a walking trail, climbed a small mountain (they say it was a hill I still say mountain!!)
Next stop penang!!
