Our first stop in Cambodia was in Siam Reap. Wherein the Angkor Wat Temple is situated. Spending 3 days here wasn't enough but experiencing those three long days was a big satisfaction for travelers just like us. Every minute of it was very well appreciated. Visiting those temples was amazing. I feel so blessed seeing those ancient temples that only few could even try to visit and be there to witness the most amazing temples being built by the ancient people of Cambodia.
It cost us $40 to enter the temple ground. But telling you it was so cheap enough just to see these temples. Nothing could compare it so far from all the places we've been. The fact that it was old makes it so especial. No wonder the famous Angelina Jolie feel in love with the place and even took a huge responsibility of adopting a child from here.
Being one of the third world countries, it doesn't make the people unease of the tourist that is visiting them. it's certainly true the poverty is massive here, and thank goodness loads of tourist comes in here to raise up at least there economy problem. Better than my country I guess.
What distracts me most in Cambodia was the civil war. Being in the killing field makes me sick. I couldn’t even see the tomb. It was really sad how such things could happen. Especially if children that are innocent are being involved.
