Ok...
An update. We are still in Cairns. This is Erik writing as per pretty much every entry. I'm not sure if anyone is even reading this... but I have yet to buy a journal so this may be as close as it gets. I'm pretty sure if you join this site you can leave comments and make fun of me for:
fear of needles
thick blood
other.
So I cannot remember what I wrote last time.. but over the last three days I have dropped over 700 dollars on doctors and drugs and tests. Every morning we get up and walk to the hospital where I get my shots.. which are actually rat poison. Apparently it kills rodents and thins my blood. Today was the first day that we didn't have to go to the hospital but I still had to go to the Dr and get blood tests. It is a careful balancing act to get my blood the proper thickness. Tomorrow we leave Cairns. If you cant go the reef... you run out of things to do pretty quick. We are heading to Magnetic Island which looks cool.
Ill keep you posted. Krystal wont. Shes turning her skin to leather on the beach.. :) Well.. not even a beach. A man made lagoon so the crocs dont eat you.

Well how's the health care system.. Should I come and give you your shots. I'm sure your getting Heparin shots pretty common drug ... For old people. If you need me to fill on the trip in just let me know.. Keep up with your travels diary as some of us will never get that chance to see the world take care
