We left the cat-infested town of Kotor and took a short bus trip to the city of Budva, which is kind of like "the" resort town for alot of the Eastern Europeans. We arrived and got to our room which was in someone' home again. There' not so many hostels in this part of the world, rooms in peoples homes seems to be the way to go.
After dumping our bags...which seem to get heavier everyday even though I dont buy things...we headed straight back to the bus station and hoped on a bus to the town of Cetinje, which we read was supposed to be pretty nice and is the former capital of Montenegro. Well we spent about three times as long on the bus there and back as we did there! Very cute place but not too much going on and quite small so we were able to see it all in about a half an hour before we got back on the bus, hich was more of a minivan, to Budva.
So what do you do when you get off one bus well you get on another right away which we did! This time we took a very short bus trip to Sveti Stefan which was a little fishing island about 300 feet offshore which was turned into a resort in the 60's but that pretty much fizzled during the war in the 1990's and now its pretty much dead...but very pretty!
We caught a bus back to Budva and walked down the boardwalk to the Old Town, which again is surrounded by a wall and is very very tiny. We walked around for a couple hours and then I called it a day-three towns in one day, that's enough for me!
