It has been raining much of the time since we arrived, but it is beautiful. The grounds of the castle are immaculate, filled with cut flower gardens and orchards. Last night we went to nearby Dudeldorf and had a spectacular dinner of rabbit (don't tell Bella) and pork schnitzel with fried bananas!
When we arrived home at 10 pm it was still light out, but the power was out, so we climbed the stairs by candlelight.
After a good night sleep we had a beautiful breakfast with cold cuts, salmon, fresh breads, yogurt and fabulous apricot nectar. Mmmmmm. Our hostess Ingrid is so lovely and helpful.
Today we are off to Trier to see the COnstantine exhibits and Luxemborg. More later! We miss you all! Hi Lily, Tess and Beck!
