Brno day 4

We covered 94 miles today and really paid for it afterwards.  We started the Joe profanity index today ... today the Joe profanity index reached a 7/10.  The temperature was pretty cool to start with and we managed to get 25miles in without a stop but it was soon back to 35 degree heat on the road. 

As we passed the Slovak/Czech boarder we got caught up in a down-pour which seemed to come out of nowhere. Then what started as heavy rain soon became terrential rain and we could hardly see a thing. The droplets were the size of maltster and we got completely drenched but we both lapped it up ! It was such a relief to have a mid afternoon shower and although we were soaked it was nice to cool down a bit.  Only problem was that everything was soaked, including my camera, which is now only semi working.

In Brno we stumbled into a hotel just in time for a proper shower and then to catch the first half of the game in the room, second half we headed for the local sports bar to find tons of pissed up brits. We walked into a chorus of "You're late and you know you are ! You're late and you know you are !" ... so we had a proper atmosphere for the second half. Shame  England looked quite average.
