Getting There
By Car -- I-70 runs through the middle of Summit County. For Keystone, exit on U.S. 6 at Dillon; the resort is 6 miles east of the interchange. For Breckenridge, exit on Colo. 9 at Frisco and head south 9 miles to the resort. Copper Mountain is right on I-70 at the Colo. 91 interchange.
By Airport Shuttle -- Most visitors fly into Denver International or Colorado Springs and continue to Breckenridge, Frisco, Keystone, and/or Copper Mountain via shuttle. Colorado Mountain Express (tel. 800/525-6363 or 970/926-9800; www.cmex.com) offers shuttles; the cost from Denver starts at about $40 per person, one-way.

A source of visitor information for the entire region is the Summit County Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 2010, Frisco, CO 80443 (tel. 888/786-6482 or 970/668-2051; www.experiencethesummit.com). The chamber has an information center in Frisco (I-70 exit 203), and another in Silverthorne just off Colo. 9 N. Both are open daily from 9am to 5pm.
Getting Around
Dillon Reservoir is at the heart of Summit County, and I-70 lies along its northwestern shore, with Frisco at its west end, and Dillon and Silverthorne toward the east. From Dillon take U.S. 6 about 5 miles east to Keystone and another 15 miles to Arapahoe. Breckenridge is about 10 miles south of Frisco on Colo. 9, and Copper Mountain is just south of I-70 exit 195 (Colo. 91). Loveland is just across the county line at exit 216 on the east side of the Eisenhower Tunnel.
Summit Stage (tel. 970/668-0999; www.summitstage.com) provides free year-round service between Frisco, Dillon, Silverthorne, Keystone, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain, daily from 6am to midnight, from late November to mid-April and shorter hours the rest of the year.
You can get around Breckenridge on the Breckenridge Free Ride bus system (tel. 970/547-3140), and there's also free shuttle service at the Keystone Resort (tel. 970/496-4200).
