My roommates (+ Josh our seventh roommate) went to Bratislava today. It’s the capital of Slovakia, and is NOT in the Ukraine, as Lindsay originally thought. Basically we went to the town square and the fortress, which looked like a castle. The weather was beautiful, despite weather.com’s prediction of 100% precipitation. We left the house at 9:00 and somehow found the station, bought tickets, and found Josh before the 9:38 train left. We boarded at 9:36. Most of the stores were closed because it was Saturday, but we managed to amuse ourselves by wandering around and seeing the major sites, plus getting a KILLER exchange rate. (If you’ve seen Eurotrip, it’s about like that.)
