This was outdoor theatre based on a book by Harold Bell Wright - the story is set in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri.  We had never heard of the book, but the play was cool.  The message was a very good one - about the good and bad forces in a people's lives and how making life more simple can lead to increased happiness versus materialistic things.  At least that was what I got out of it.  The actors were cool and you actually can go on stage and square dance.  There are gunfights, and lots of livestock.  Good for all ages.
