“Great Location Great Hotel” |
We had high expectations for our stay at XV Beacon. The location is central, the rooms are supposed to be beautiful and the hotel's reputation is excellent. This hotel deserves every good thing that is said or written about it.
The staff is friendly and knowledgable. The mix of modern and federal decor creates a wonderful ambience. The Federalist restaurant is one on the best in a city of wonderful restaurants. Our studio room was spacious and well appointed. The fireplace in our room cut through the gloom of a rainy day, so much so that we stayed in to read the paper (in August no less!).
We highly recommend the concierge (they gave us a great North End Italian restaurant recommendation) and the Mercedes car service (the seats had custom-made two-toned leather upholstery!). The question is what makes a great hotel? Stay at XV Beacon and you will have the answer.
