The bad things first (before I start on the numerous good things) - I got ripped off at the border as there was nowhere I could exchange my Costa Rican Colones apart from the Chinese supermarket at the border, who gave me such a bad rate that I ended up losing over $10 in the exchange.  And I got bitten to near insanity by bedbugs and mosquitoes.

Apart from these two things, everything else about the island (Isla Colon) was amazing.......amazing ambience, amazing people, amazing nightlife, amazingly lots of things to do, amazing chilling out!!! Bocas is one of the best places I have visited on this trip.  Though very touristy, I made alot of friends and went out alot and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was still with Stan here.  On one of the days (Sunday), the owner of the hotel took us to a nearby island in his boat for a spot of R&R and snorkeling.  Though we got attacked by the sand flies here, we had a good time hanging with the locals and the seeing the sunset from the boat on the way back, whilst riding by some other beautiful islands.  It felt even better as on that day, I had booked myself on an island, dolphin spotting and snorkeling trip, which I missed.  I didn't see dolphins though, but I figure I will see them sometime soon. Other days were spent chilling in town, having fresh fruit juices and watching the world go by, whilst meeting at chatting to both locals and various travellers. On Monday I was on the waiting list for a flight to Panama, but there wasn't any space on the plane, which meant another night on this great island.  Tuesday morning, I was on the waiting list again, but this time I was lucky as someone hadn't turned up for their flight and I got on.  To Panama City then!!!!
