From Nelson we headed south to the Malborough wine region. We spent a very hazy day visiting 3 wineries and tasting as much as possible! The wine was fantastic as was the scenery!
The next day we did a slight diversion to kaikoura to see the whales. We saw 2 giant sperm whales called Noodles and Little Nick. Unfortunately, it was a bit off a rough day out on the boat...fortunately my stomach is rock hard!!
The coastal drive from Kaikora back up to Picton is the prettiest i ahve ever seen, we had to stop every 5 mins to capture the amazing views!!
