Bennington VT

day 7

After our night in hartford CT we left to go stock up the car with lots 
of healthy snacks. we arrived at shop rite supermarket with high hopes 
of all the diet food we would be able to get, but almost as soon as we 
walked inside we forgot the word diet even existed. everything is 
MASSIVE! ha we brought chips, jellys, cup cakes, cookies, m&m's, 
pretzels, etc. oh and a few apples and carrots haha. so lets just say 
the diet isnt going too well. but fuck it!
we also picked up a very important piece of equipment today, a sat. 
nav. thingy..and without her we would be driving in circles.
anyway, so then we started our drive to Lee MA i can not even begin to 
describe how beautiful the drive was. it was like being in movie from 
the olden days. we stopped and had lunch in the park then had coffee and 
cake in a little coffee shop.. our next stop was Bennington a little 
town on the vermont border. the 1st thing nat noticed was the salvo's 
store and begged for us to go back the next day (typical natty) and when 
we went back the next day she picked up a pair of shoes and a dress for 
$3.75$. we checked in to the paradise inn, it was a really cute inn and 
we did our first lot of washing. it was fun and i took photos of coarse 
:).. we had dinner and beers at he local pub and i swear when we walked 
in EVERYONE stopped eating and just kept staring at us, maybe it was the 
red and white checked full length flowy dress natty was wearing, or 
maybe they just wanted to bang us.. haha so awkward but funny too. 
there were so many small towns along the way with apple orchards, 
strawberry fields, and bakery's.. way too many bakery's! the cakes here 
are the best! i feel like im in pastry heaven! and you all know how much 
i love my cake!
