We made it! Thousands and thousands of people everywhere. Long long lines and we were so confused because we could not speak chinese. There were some signs in english for passport checks, foreigners, and etc. We stood in all kinds of check lines before even had the opportunity to claim our bags. We had to go through an passport/visa approval procedures. It seemed standinginthe check linesbecause many Chinese people just walked right in front of us.
We were so puzzled by their manners but were too tired to argue. For the record, we were too scared and confused to argue. After all the checks, waiting, and standing in long lines; we finally found our luggage. After we retrieved our luggage, our Chinesehosts found usby holding signs. There were many people holding signs for different tourist groupsin this airport but we recognized the "UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-STUDENT TEACHERS." We were over so happy! Here we are, we made it. We are in China!
