I flew from DCA to LGA on an incredibly cheap flight that was mostly uneventful, except that it was so clear that I could see my old apt building from the sky (the red neon sign on Tom's Restaurant at 113 St is visible from the air). As usual, I got a little sad that I don't live in NYC anymore. I landed at LGA and got my bag without incident (yes, I had to check it -- damn that 3-ounce liquid rule), then hopped into a cab. The driver had no idea where we were going, so we learned together. Once I got to Melissa's house in Bayside, she showed me the changes to their co-op since I was last there in August and then we made pasta for dinner. We went to sleep early because she's a hardworking postdoc who has to be at the lab in the morning. Boooo!
