Flaming Cliffs & Flaming Beetles

After the night on the floor and beetles crawling in my hair we said goodbye (bayartai) to the family we headed to Bayanzag where we stopped at a couple of ruined temples on the way, we had to keep stopping every couple of hours to let the russian van cool down.

We arrived at Bayanzag and camped in the scrubland near the Flaming cliffs, loads of chipmunk type mammals were all around the tents, early evening a group of camels passed by.

The next morning we visited the 'flaming cliffs' (camel mud) where you could buy fossilized dinosaur eggs and bones.
