Review of Alberto´s Carne

  Alberto´s has 3 restaurants in the downtown area, 2 of which are on Elfin Street:   up Nuemeyer street from the central YPF gas station and left onto Elfin Street.  The restarants are one for pasta and one for Carne (meat).  The 3rd restarant location is unknown to the author right now.  The meal for 6 people came to 40$ pesos a person (15$ us) with meat for everyone(lamb, beef, chicken, chorizo,etc.), 3 bottles of wine, 2 salads-papas fritas (to share) and dessert.  Not bad!  The meat was good, although I confess I am not an affecionado....The asada area is open and available to explore and take photos.  Be careful and arrive at a descidely non-Argentinian time for dinner (at 8pm opening,)....this early hour allows you to get dinner for everyone without a reservation and without waiting for hours on end at the door!  Trust me, I witnessed the line at the door after our dinner concluded, ouch!  not pretty.
