Wow.  So the morning was spent walking around downtown Bangkok.  I sniffed at the Grand Palace and glanced at the goofy looking King.  I found a tuk tuk which was a hard bargain for a taxi ride aboard a 2 stroke 3 wheeler with a seat for a small man to sit.  I found myself at the laughing Buddah, Marble Temple, and Wat Pho, an amazing example of architecture.  After loading my camera with video from the crazy ass tuk tuk ride, I met an englishman named Will from London.  We were both lost on the corner reading our maps upside down trying to find Wat Pho.  After a Mexico incident of haggling some post cards we were in Wat Pho shooting some kids playing soccer.

We walked the streets looking for a beer and some Thai food finally...small alleys were ghetto but one provided a small family run wok with beer.  3 dollars later wee were waiting for the sunset at Wat Arun.  We took a 2 cent trip to Wat Run at sunset to grab the money shot at sundown but instead we laughed vigorously while our boat frothed through the filth of a river/canal.

Afterward we went back to the Whitemans mecca, Koa Sahn Rd, where we sampled a beer from each pub and teased the Thai massage girls all we could.....why is it taking so long to get an 8dollar massage?  I suppose I am worried about an 80pound Thai jump on my back to "help" me.

We found some interesting entertainment at a few bars and a halfass honest taxi driver to take us to Sailom, the place where Will had a hotel for 30 bucks.  I checked in and dropped off my minibaggage.  We found a bar. Well a strip club.  We also learned what a ping pong show was and laughed till our eyes fogged up.  Short story was we were begged to stay.

Bangkok is sensory overload and my feet hurt.
