Got here at last. The flight was so long but not as bad as expected. Watched a few movies, ate a lot and drunk a lot. We had a stopover at abu dhabi which was good coz i really needed to stretch my legs. We got given two meals on each plane so i had four meals in my flight, it felt like i spent most of the time eating but i am certainly not complaining. We tried our best to help the bar get rid of their free drinks and had plenty of vodka, beer, wine and anything else we could get our hands on.

Arrived at around 8 in the morning thai time. Bangkok is absolutely nuts. There seems to be no laws on the roads and the drivers are all mad. There are millions of bikes everywhere and we even saw people sleeping on the back of trucks. Booked into a guesthouse, had a few beers outside then passed out literally. Woke up at around 6 and went straight down to a near by bar. Ate noodles and chicken which cost 70 baht (about 1 pound) and was lovely. After a few beers we decided to hit the spirits. Paul ordered a large sam sung whisky and a few red balls (laced with amphetimenes) which cost about 4 pound. When they brought it over it wasn't a large measure you get a whole bloody bottle. The stuff is lethal and after polishing off the bottle i felt quite lively (probably the amphetimenes). We went and sat down on a few tables at the edge of a road where a lady was serving beer out the back of a van for 50p. By this time i was quite merry (wrecked is probably a better description) and we chatted to lots of other travellers who where stopping by. Within a few hours there was about 50 of us lying about on a big carpet at the side of the road getting pissed and having a really good laugh. It was such a good night, i don't remember to many details but i know it was fun. I fell in love with a thai waitress, she was stunning and we are going back there tonight. lol. The funniest part of the night was this canadian fella who was trying all his best lines on this thai lady and seemed impressed that she was buying them. We were cracking up because everyone else could see she was a ladyboy, her adams apple was bigger than mine and her voice sounded like she had smoked far to many cigarettes and was really deep, rule one always check the throat.

Woke up in the morning and we had a bit of a problem. My dads phone wasn't working and luke was arriving today so he had no way of contacting us. We all felt like sh*t, must be the jet lag, nothing to do with the few bottles of whisky we had drunk. On the off chance we thought we would walk down the ko san road and check a few guesthouses for luke. About half way down i was stopped in my tracks by someone saying 'hello mr goouge'. It was luke sitting having a beer outside a pub. Typical luke. So we had a beer which made me feel a lot better and showed luke a few places and had some dinner. I'm just waiting for him now, he's just gone for a shower and we are off out again. Im sitting in an internet cafe and a lady who recognised me just gave me a bucket (an actual bucket filled with sam sung, red bull and coke) so the night is off to a good start. Its so nuts being here after all the anticipation. I love it already, everyone is so friendly and always smiling and it is so cheap. Anyway off to get drunk, going to show luke the delights of sam sung. Not sure where we are off next but thats whats so exciting. We will update this next time we have a chance. Oh yeah i will add some photos soon this computer hasn't got a usb. We found a restaurant called gaylords indian haha so took a photo, it sounds just up lukes street lol.
