It's a nice place to stay but if you have a little more money to spend - i recommend the taj west end (colonial villas, building). The Taj residency overlooks the trinity church (at the end of MG Road - lifeline of bangalore) and an man made lake (Ulsoor lake).
Has a variety of cusines - continental, chinese, indian (mughlai) etc. has a gym and a swiming pool a nice place to cool you heels but Bangalore has a very good climate on most occassions the temp varies between 24-28deg celcius in the summer
