As part of the weekend at home we traveled to Baden-Baden which is only about an hour away. Baden-Baden is most famously known for its Roman Baths. For only thirteen Euros we had the opportunity to spend four luxurious hours in endless baths, spas, and saunas. It was like being a kid again…except this time, no mom to say “It’s time to get out of the bath!” Haha! Really, the baths, as they call them, are just large swimming pools, not to dull the experience or magic, filled with warm water. There is one three tiered one indoors as well as another pool outdoors. Three of us, Skyler, Elizabeth and me, also braved the second floor, also known as the nudist level! We kept our own towels on throughout the brief experience, but it was worth it was we enjoyed the saunas. I guess the other girls just missed out! All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon, a place I would consider returning to.
