Back to China!

It's the summer holidays. England's weather is OK for once. So what better to do than jet off to a country where smog still exists, people spit, piss and shit in the street and socks with sandals are a fashion statement?

Oh, to watch in awe as 3 Chinese girls teeter past, impossibly balanced on one bycicle, wearing high-heels and carrying handbags, and somehow still having a hand free to do their nails!

Oh, to barter for hours over 37p!

Oh, to order seven dishes for one meal between two people and not be looked down on as a couple of fatties!

These are but a few of the things we are looking forward to experiencing on our three week trip to China (commencing on the 27th of July). We'll spend most (or all) of our time in Beijing and Tianjin - the first because it is really cool and is the home of the Silk Street Pearl Market, and the second because T.Rex used to live there, once upon a time.

You never know, maybe we'll visit Weifang (another place T.Rex once lived in, and hated) or probably just Qingdao (a beautiful neighbouring city by the sea). Anyway, whatever we do, we'll record it here, so enjoy.
