Discovering particular bits of Genoa, through a maze of little churches and little squares, little shops, “caruggi” with weird names, and amazing views from the surrounding hills.

This route is meant to show you the most unusual sites and views in Genoa, which are usually left in the shadows in comparison with the greatness of the classical historical buildings.

Our route traces “another” history of the Superba, ranging from the local “caruggi” to the villas and parks just outside the city centre. This “other” history will make you breathe old-craft shops and narrow streets with weird names, little squares and churches, “edicole votive”, and typical places smelling of sea and pesto sauce.
