van Hessing European trip from Sept 2008 to sometime in 2010
In and around Europe
We have lived overseas, mainly in the South Pacific and travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia, North & South America. During the past few years we have saved up enough to travel to all those places in Europe that we missed out on before. We intend to leave the Netherlands early November and travel via the Romantic Road of Germany to Northern Italy and then down to Reggio to take the ferry to Sicily. After a month or so there hope to reach Crete and spend Jan & Feb 2009 there before travelling north via the old Yugoslav countries back up into Italy by May 2009. Then hopefully, meet up with our son, wife & baby and head via France and Belgium, possibly Denmark up into Norway. Then to Finland, Estonia, Latvia etc. Havent planned 2010 yet but if Australia get into the World Cup we'll return to Australia via South Africa.
