Holy moley, we made it!
In and around London, United Kingdom

Goodness golly gosh, after 27 hours of traveling from Seattle to Detroit, to NYC, we've finally made it to the Queen's land of London, England! Arriving at 6:30am London time, we were bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for about 6 hours before jet-lag started kicking in and playing its toll on us...Being the energizer bunnies that we are (rather, I am..) we ended up touring Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Victoria and this really ancient church where people were beheaded back in the 13th century called All Hallow's Chapel. Our plans unfortunately fell through with the Couch Surfing gal who was suppose to contact us, so after a couple of needless worrying, internet cafe searches, and a couple of 'Tube' rides (underground train) later, we found ourselves a nice 6-person dorm room at Smart Hyde Park Hostel in Westminster- a charming white-neo classic area of London.

Today, we are enjoying a cup of tea, strolling around the eclectic mixture of ancient architecture and modern, new structures...and talking to locals who say that we've given the US a better name...
We're off to Paris tonight to stay with our new-found couch surfing friends. Hope you are all doing well and wish you were here with us!
