On the October Bank Holiday we went out to Kinsale for the day. We started with Charles Fort a 17th century star shaped fort. It was really beautiful with the bright green grass round the battlements contrasting the grey stones of the fort. In Kinsale we visited Desmond Castle, which was fairly small and didn't have much in it. After lunch in Kinsale we went round the otherside of the harbour to James Fort which Rose loved climbing up.
