Paris in Seventeen Days
In and around Paris, France
This will be my second trip to Paris, the first being eighteen years ago and only as a brief stop-over on my way to Italy with Michael (this was our infamous pre-wedding honeymoon.) This trip, I have the pleasure of accompanying a University of Washington faculty member and 16 undergraduates who are studying public opinion (see http://depts.washington.edu/explore/ for more information on this great UW program.)
I look forward to having seventeen days on the ground to get a semi-deep drink of Paris. So many friends and colleagues have given me advice (shopping, off-the-beaten-path museums, restaurants, flea markets) and numerous maps to help me find them all. With my new pair of sturdy Dansko Mary Janes, I am ready to hit the streets!
