WELL , I am exhausted..... I arrived into Christchurch yesterday night after  day of flying and flight delays.   I'm not doing much here, just resting for a day and then I leave tomorrow for Oamaru.  I really like the feel of the city here, it's small and quaint.   I only ventured far enough to get some breakfast and some medicine....yes that's right.....I'm sick.   I think being in Melbourne and barely sleeping and jet lag all caught up to me.  SO, I'm just hanging around the hostel and sleeping for the day.  Oh yeah, in New Zealand, the pharmacies are very interesting.... you can get medicine that in the U.S. has to be prescribe by a doctor.   I had to ask for just some normal sinus meds.    The best part of travelling so far is the people.   I really miss the friends I made in Melbourne...it was really sad having to leave them all and move on to my next desitination.   I've made amazing friends in just a few days.  The bond you develop with these different people is different than any other friendship and it is so exciting to make friends from around the world.  But hey, now I have excuses to go visit Holland, England, Scotland, Ireland, South Korea, etc....      (where my various friends have been from).  Happy Holidays!

Hi Krissy, Sorry to hear you are under the weather but it sounds like you have things under control. Hmm, maybe we should send you around the world as our friendship ambassador.
