This is going to have to be short....interenet is getting expensive. We really enjoyed our time in Florence it is smaller and a lot less crouded than Rome, and we were able to take a bike tour to the Chianti region. The bike ride was difficult , but worth it....the views, the food at a little resturant, and not to mention, the awesome wine and olive oil we sampled on a local farm. On our last night we joined 2,000 Italy fans viewing the World Cup victory against Germany next to Michelangelo's tower.

A copy of 'The David'....the original is housed in a museum....the lines were TOO long.
