Thailand Honeymoon!!

Well, our honeymoon was our first trip over seas together, and as a married couple to boot! It was a fun trip, we had a bit of a mixed bag as far as experiences were concerned, but I wouldn't change a thing.

My wife, Kristy, shopped her heiny off. She loved it over there. Shoe heaven! I liked the....backed up...movies and games. I'm an IT geek, so that always gets my attention over shoes any day. : P

We flew out of Brisbane on a direct flight to Bangkok, stayed one night, then took a connecting flight the next day. Well, we did once we found the correct gate and checked in for the next available flight over to Phuket.

Phuket was magnificent, but Phiphi island was THE highlight of the whole trip. We met some good people over there, and had some real good fun snorkelling in the crystal clear azure waters. I'll put up a photo or two in my gallery to get this thing started, and you can oooh and aaah over the beautiful scenery of Thailand!

We only had 9 days in Thailand, but I'll be going back.

If you head to Bangkok, MAKE SURE you go the Banyan Tree, to a restaurant & bar called Vertigo. 62 storeys or something ridiculous, and it's an open roof restaurant. Make sure you take your camera too. I forgot ours that night, but it is an amazing experience to be sitting on the roof of a 62 storey building, eating your dinner, looking at the lights of the city. Absolutely breathtaking.
