Tunisia is a bizarre country - a mix of holidaymakers and hijabs, markets and mosques, bikinis and Berbers. The old meets the new in a variety of (often inharmonious) ways. While many holidaymakers are content to restrict their wanderings to the beach and hotel, Tunisia is a lot more fun if you get out and see the culture.
