Many campgrounds up in this Dixie National Forest. We are camp host at the S. and N. Juniper Park Campground. A little creek runs through it, right along most campsites. There is a place to fish, choice of the small lake or along the banks of the creek. They stock the pond with fish each year. There is also, a Equestrian Campground, if you have a horse. Upper Pines, Blue Springs is the only campground that thats reservations. Also, Pines and Oak Grove campgrounds. Day use Picnic area is a very nice place.

The campgrounds sit about 7,000 feet, so you know it is just the best place. No hookups. The people are great. But a Warning.. Get here early, the campsites are taken quickly! We tried for many years, when our children were growning up, to get a campsite, with No Luck!
Beside the great fishing, there are deers right outside your campsite. Wild Turkeys, Hummingbirds that zip all around. So many animals and things that I can't list them all. It is quite, and yes you Can have campfires. Right now, there are out houses but there are also flush toilets! Clean Great Place! But there are few campsites. Around 150 total and on weekends, so far they fill up quickly! There are also hiking trails and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.
This is a place to check out. It is about 50 miles outside of St. George, but well worth it. A dump station is outside of the park. There is water, but not for hookups.
There is cabins, 2 places to eat at, 1 real nice up scale steak house, 1 cafe, both with nice people.
