kaylenesteve around the world for 365 days
In and around World
OK so we have gotten rid of the kids, worked really hard for 18 months, packed up, cleaned out and stored anything of value. We have rented out the house, taken a last ride with our Ullysses motorcycle club, run one last run with hash harriers and breakfasted with one of our daughters. The other one couldn't get back from the UK for the event. Insurance and finance is sorted, tickets paid for and itinerary set. WOW...365 days to trot around the world pretty much at will. We leave in 4 days so its time to get the blog site up and running. More importantly, it is time to leave. All our gear is spread across the bedroom floor. 12 months away with some serious decisions about what we need to carry. If you take it, you carry it is the key catchcry. Makes for some serious considerations. Hmmm definately taking the Ipod, camera, wife...what else? Oh, I am not carrying my wife, as a much loved travel partner she still has her own legs. Although when I broke my ribs four weeks ago she was at risk of carrying the big backpack....LOL. Anyhow, welcome to our blog and we hope we can keep you green with envy as we go along.
