Taiwan: Western English Teachers Everywhere
In and around Taiwan

From LA our first destination was Taipei, Taiwan. It was just a layover of 4 days, so we only got a brief taste of the country. It would be fun to explore more sometime in the future.
Taipei, like Los Angeles, is humungous. It's one of the most densely packed cities in the world. Practically no green space to play in. It would be easy for a Westerner like us to get lost. At the same time, there was a certain sense of familiarity. Maybe it was all the 7-Eleven convenience stores or the Mc Donalds on every corner.
