I am in SIAM
In and around Thailand
So some interesting things occurred so far this trip:
1)on the way from AZ to San Fran for transfer to Bangkok, the pilot gets on the PA to direct my attention to the plane that is right next to us out the frickin window! Apparently it is landing on the parallel runway but nonetheless, HELLO!
2)on a 2 hour layover in Tokyo, I was looking at candies I think, they had these wooden bobble dolls, and I had to look twice at a handwritten sign
"please do not twist doll necks"
3) Got in to Bangkok at midnight. It is strange after getting up at 545 am and flying for 24 hours, it was not dark until I landed in Bangkok...so the day was something 26 hours light....My bag made it after 3 transfers! Currently my waist pack is missing. Don't ask. It is a bitch trying to get a bank to wire funds to me without my cards.
