Just getting ready - 1 day, 11 hrs & counting
In and around Edmonton, Canada
Just getting ready for the trip... we have been planning for over a year but with one day to go before we fly away I feel like I have done nothing to prepare. I am feel like I am scrambling to get everything together for this trip & get everything prepared for my time away from home & work.
EEEEK!
Just a quick outline for anyone who has not been listening to me blab about this all year: we land in Delhi on the 17th of December, fly out on the 18th via Jet Airways. We land in Bagdogra in Wesy Bengal & catch a cab to Darjeeling where we have a couple of days to aclimate.After that its onto the trek... I am not sure how long we will spend on the trek- at this pint in time the weather does not look inviting so we may cut that bit of our journey short. After the trek we head out to Kalimpong for a couple of days of relaxing and taking in the culture. We fly back to Delhi on January 4th to meet some friends travelling around the world this year and fly back home on the 7th. Its a short trip but lets hope its a good trip!
