Good to be back on the road again!
In and around Laos
After an unintentional month 'off' from travelling, it was good to be back on the road again - It was really great to hang out with friends but there is so much to see... and naff though it sounds, it felt good to be back on the knife-edge of solo travel - so much of this trip is about my journey of self-discovery, learning to make decisions not by consensus or pre-plan, but based on my own instincts, wants, and needs at any given moment. So I was off to Laos, the first country where I would not be meeting anyone that I knew and the last country in South East Asia I will visit before I head to India.
Cambodia was going to be hard act to follow - I fell in love with the country and the people and Angkor really touched me...but Lovely Laos offers a whole host of other delights....
