"You're going to do what?"

"Winter camping. MacGregor Point Provincial Park on Lake Huron. Eric, Emma, Jack & Carolyn are going, too."

"It's February. And you don't like being cold."

"This is true. Also, I don't have any of the appropriate gear for winter camping. But we're staying in a yurt."

"What's a yurt?"

"Some sort of Mongolian domed tent."

"That's hardcore."

"Um, not exactly. The park has taken a few liberties with the concept, making for a relatively comfortable weekend. Did I mention that they're heated? We won't have to buy any high-tech gear, build snow shelters, or melt snow for water.  Mostly a convenient way to do some snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing."
