When trying to plan a quick getaway from Bahrain, we tossed around lots of possible destinations and had to settle for what Gulf Air, the major airline out of Bahrain, would give us. As it turned out, we couldn't have made a better choice! I loved Istanbul so much I definitely plan to go back once or twice while I'm so close.
