6 months enjoying the bottom of the world :o)
In and around World
JES & AL Enjoying 6 Months of the bottom of the world :o)
Hi, everyone.
We've decided to broaden our horizons and take the plunge to see parts of the southern hemisphere, soaking up different cultures and seeing some amasing sights.
Starting on the 2nd of October 07 (for Jes: as she's going the Long way round!) or the 3rd Oct for Al (going the quickest way) we fly to Sydney, (separately and different ways, as we couldn't get on the same flights) then a short flight up to Brisbane where we pick up our Hippy Camper Van! Taking in some of the Great Barrier Reef before heading back down the Gold Coast towards Sydney
From Sydney we Jet off to Christchurch in NZ on the 10th of November, where we'll get another Camper van of sorts and eventually end up in Aukland.
Then a week in Fiji from the 12th of Dec 07 where we have a special stay in a local village planned
Back to Sydney again on the 19th of Dec 07 until the 2nd of Feb 08
This part of the trip is undecided yet apart from christmas on a beach chucking a shrimp on a barbie and seeing in the new year by the harbour bridge
The 2nd of Feb 08 see's us flying to Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam and we finally fly out of Bangkok on the 6th of March 08. Again, we'll play this by ear as to which way we go
So, 6 Months to explore, absorb and relax. It's going to be fantastic!
Keep your eyes peeled on here for photo's and updates
