In and around London, United Kingdom

The journal that I will be posting, is actually from earlier this year - it begins in February. I am bringing it over from another site. I hope anyone who happens to read it, enjoys my 'Mumblings'.

Thanks

Hi Mel, Just read your blog regarding your egypt, jordan, dead sea trip. Your tour guide Mick sounded very interesting!!! I am planning a trip to Egypt and Jordan. I was just wondering which tour group you used? I'm just trying to avoid some of the hassles that you seemed to have!!! Any advice that you could give would be really helpful. Cheers, Dasa

Hey Dash (not sure how to message you back, so had to reply on here). I didn't use a tour group. i came to Dahab from Israel, and ended up doing the 'tour' organized by the Seven Heaven Hostel - I'm not sure if Mick usually does them, but it was definitely an entertaining experience, if nothing else. Staying on a bedouin camp was awesome, and the guide we had for Wadi Rum was brilliant. Well recommended, but you can just do those things when you're out there - there will be a tonne of options open to you.
