the start of a long road
In and around St. John's, Canada

This is the start of a story that should span about 2 years. In February i was accepted as a Cuso Cooperant for a project in Iquitos, Peru. After 4 months of delays (all part of the fun of process) I am on my way. And hey, it is never a bad thing (for me) to have to spend extra time in the lovely St. John's. It all worked out for the best in the end.
To give an over view of what it means (to me) to be a Cuso cooperant I should say something about this organization. Cuso, a Canadian NGO, has existed and maintained itself through growing with the world since its inception in 1961. Today it works to partner people and organizations which see eye to eye on social development issues. The program which I have been granted is to work with a Peruvian NGO in developing an education program for youth, using theatre techniques and practices. I would like to encourage any and all to visit the Cuso website....I did, I applied, I never thought my experience would get me here....but hey did. Check it out and give it a go.......www.cuso.org. On with the adventure.....
