Climbing mountains and surfing in one weekend?! It felt like being back in Cape Town!

In and around United Kingdom

Managed to get away for a bank holiday weekend to (once again) visit some old friends, Pam and Jon. Pam is an old school friend of ours (kinda) and Jon is the man in her life. They’re living in a town call Betws-y-Coed, which is probably the most beautiful town I’ve ever seen in this country. Seriously amazing. Life’s really not fair. Pam and Jon live on and work at a nature type school (for my Saffa mates, it’s comparable to Veldskool). What it comes down to is the fact that they had a waterfall and a beautiful forest in their backyard (literally). Some people have all the luck. Weather was cloudy and on/off rainy but according to the locals we were lucky, so there.

We had a mad weekend really, just the way I like it. During the days we ran around like ants on acid doing loads of stuff which made us so tired we usually passed out around 11pm at night.
