I Finally Made it to Egypt!
In and around Egypt
I've wanted to travel to Egypt since I was seven, had the flu, and my
mom bought me a book about the discovery of King Tutankhamen's
tomb. Ever since then, I have had a romanticised idea about the
history, the culture, and the people of this country. The fact
that I am studying arabic just happened to go along with my dreams of
visiting Egypt. I will be spending one month living in Cairo, and
then the rest of the summer studying in Alexandria. Of course I
miss everyone at home, but it's just too good of an opportunity to pass
up!
