Europe 2007

In and around Europe

What can I say, our honeymoon is finally happening.  We are going to enjoy every minute of it and will try our best to update you on our travels.  I will be enjoying the beautiful sites of Ireland and South Uist (Scotland) prior to meeting up with my husband.  Then we will be off to France (Paris & Normandy), Netherlands (Amsterdam and many other locations) and then to Scotland (Edinburgh and anywhere else we can manage).  It will be a blast and we are really looking forward to it.

We chose these various locations because of our ancestors and grandparents memories.  Most of these locations will be a personal journey to our family background and history.  History is a topic that interests both, so to be able to go back to D-Day beaches where our relatives survived and one sacrificing their life is a journey we both must make.  This is only an aspect our trip, there are many more areas of family history we must explore.  Please enjoy the ride as much as we will.
