New Zealand 2004

As a graduation present to me, my Dad sent my sister Marie and I to New Zealand for a month. It was a startling thing to wake up and realize that we were on our own on the other side of the world from anyone we knew! Yes, there were some cat-fights on this trip (we are sisters, after all), but on the whole we managed to get along and enjoy the scenary. New Zealand is a more gorgeous place than anyone can describe. Although there is not the same weight of history as there is in Europe, the scenary is not to be believed. Literally. We once had to hike through a rain forest to get to an overview of a glacier, for pete's sake! Unbelieveable.
