Cumbria and Northumbria: A Tale of Two Coasts

This year we simply couldn't decide which part of the country to visit. My brother wanted to go to the Lake District and my Mum wanted to see Alnwick Gardens. So we struck a happy compromise and headed up the country, first to Cumbria in the North West and then Northumbrian in the North East. Two dramatically different counties and indeed two very different versions of the North.
