Trip to Bangkok
In and around Thailand
I went with best friend of mine last 2007. We used local travel agent in Bangkok through www.asiatravel.com. Our choices were :
- Landmark of Bangkok (mostly temples) - Siam Niramit show - very spectacular - Ayutthaya Land tour
In free time, we went to visit some shopping areas such as Jatujak, MBK and Suan Lum Night Bazaar. My recommendation is Jatujak, but since it only opens on Saturday and Sunday so the trip has to be planned. Suan Lum Night Bazaar is also good, but not for shopping (the price is way more cheaper at Jatujak). We've found out that Suan Lum is best for hang out and eat (they have live music).
We lived at Samran Place Hotel, that we booked through www.asiarooms.com. The Hotel is very near to Asia Hotel, but with so much cheaper. It also located near MRT station, and has quite a 'live' in night.
