Exotic Egypt
In and around Africa
It's summer again and time to set off on another adventure! This year, Missy and I will be traveling to Egypt and Jordan.
Earlier this year, it was our intention to travel simply to Egypt. The idea was to see the pyramids - yet another wonder of the old world. However, during the course of the year, there was much talk about the new seven wonders of the world. And, when they were finally announced, we found, to our delight, that one of those seven wonders is the city of Petra which is in Jordan - Egypt's neighbour.
It made every sense to rearrange our itinerary to include Petra in our travels. So the package tour was put aside and I developed yet another tailor made itinerary - customized to our interests and taking into account Missy's attention span - with a desire to combine education with a lot of fun.
The result is a sixteen day tour that includes busy bazaars, ancient tombs, a hike on Mount Sinai, water sports at a Red Sea resort, a walk through history as we tour the Pyramids in Egypt and the beautiful city of Petra and a luxurious cruise on the Nile!
We take off in a few hours...
I hope you will stay with us for the entire journey.
Best,
Syerah
