Danube Bicycle Trip
In and around Austria
Doug and I will be arriving in Munich on Sunday, 12 August. We plan to spend three days visiting Munich and another two days in Mittenwald in the Bavarian Alps, where Doug studied violinmaking over 30 years ago. From there, we'll take the train to Salzburg, where we hope to find tickets to some of the concerts at the festival there. We will then pick up a couple of bicycles and spend a week on the road to Vienna.
We don't know what internet access we'll have in Germany and Austria, but we'll post entries with pictures whenever we get the chance.
